Visa procedure for all kinds of visa
Applicants for a national visa (for a stay in Germany of more than three months) as well as for a Schengen visa (for stays of up to three months) have to present their application form and complete documentation PERSONALLY at the German Embassy in Guatemala-City.
The following is a brief summary of requirements for a Schengen Visa for Belize citizens and citizens of other countries residing in Belize with Germany as their main destination.

Except in emergency cases, German passports are now printed at facilities in Germany. Since this will increase processing time, please take this into consideration when applying for or renewing passports at the Embassy. New Belize Information on Validity of German Passport
Due to new regulations of the Belize immigration authorities, German citizens are advised to apply for the German passport at the German Embassy in Guatemala before the validity of the old passport expires in order to avoid difficulties during entry and exit.
